Manual Pantograph Door for yachts and motor boats.
Nemo’s Manual Pantograph Doors are designed to meet the need of yachts and motor boats. They are custom-built and can be installed on boats in a very short space of time, ready for use in just two hours.
The door structure is made of laminated fibreglass, internally reinforced with aluminium bronze plates.
The frame and some of the accessories are made in 6061 aluminium, whereas other components are made in 316L stainless steel.
The patented continuous cycle painting system and the insulation between materials of different types ensure excellent protection against salt corrosion. The colours of the interiors and exteriors can be customised upon request.
The airtight closure of the door is guaranteed by special pins that exercise constant pressure on an innovative sealing gasket that cannot be deformed over time.
The weight of the door ranges from 20 to 31 kg, including the frame.
Different types of frame are available: visible, concealed with rabbeted frame and concealed with no rabbet. This solution allows the frame to be set at different angles, in order to accommodate any difference between the cut-out and the door.
The excellent leverage balance and the large aluminium or steel handles, make them easy to use.
The pantograph opening keeps the overall dimensions to a minimum, leaving plenty of space for the walkway; key-operated closing, activated from both inside and outside, eliminates the risk of unauthorised access.
- MANUAL OPERATION
- DIMENSIONS AND COLOURS CAN BE CUSTOMISED ON REQUEST
- OCCUPIES MINIMUM SPACE IN THE WALKWAY
- THREE DIFFERENT FRAME SOLUTIONS
- RAPID INSTALLATION
Types of frames and space required to open door.
The frame stop is on the outside of the boat, so when the door is closed, an aluminium trim of about 30 mm is visible, painted the same colour as the gelcoat. |
The frame stop is hidden inside the inner boat perimeter, so when the door is closed it is completely invisible. This solution creates continuity between the structure and the door. |
The frame is completely contained within the door space without any door stop, so is completely invisible from the outside. This solution ensures continuity between the boat and the door and also means the frame can be fitted even if there are minor differences between the frame and the structure. |
MANUAL DOOR N.B. The measurements in the drawing are given merely as an indication and depend on the type and shape of the door. |

Non-standard doors.
These handles are recommended when the doors exceed standard sizes or weights. The double levers and relevant supports can withstand high compression and torque loads.
Optionals.
Optical alarm
This system indicates whether doors are open or closed: it is possible to check door status from the pilot bridge or any other location on the boat by simply checking the red or green light.
