Folding Gangway/Ladder for Sailboats.

The folding gangway/ladder for sailboats by Nemo is versatile and easy to use both as a gangway or a swimming ladder. It can be easily positioned in different areas on the boat.
It is secured to the deck by means of a teflon socket which the gangway pin is inserted into.

It is available in the model of 2 m long with 9 steps.

This gangway/ladder by Nemo Industrie is made of an anodised aluminium profile with hinges and locking system in polished, pickled and passivated 316 stainless steel.

The steps are in marine wood, obtained from solid wood treated with a special impregnating agent containing teflon polymers which create a non-slip film over the wood surface: a must-have at sea. Special attention has been paid to the spacing between the steps, so it is comfortable to use as a ladder.

Its minimum folded overall dimensions (65 cm high) allows it to be laid next to the guardrail without extending beyond the pulpit or it can be stored in any locker.

Great attention has been paid to detail and, as well as its elegant design, it is highly functional, thanks to the automatic lever-operated locking system and the possibility of using it on transoms of varying angles by means of adjustable feet.

A few optional accessories have been developed to improve its performance: a balance gear for connection to the topping lift; a stainless steel extension fitted with two additional steps to facilitate perpendicular immersion in water.
