Seasil is Nemo’s new
product which, when sprayed onto the gaskets of doors,
portlights, hatches, etc. once a month, lubricates them,
protects against premature aging which over time could lead to
irritating and dangerous water infiltration and prevents their
sticking to the glass.
Impermeable to salt water, when applied regularly Seasil
improves the hold of any gasket, by keeping it pliant and
spongy.

ELIMINATE GALVANIC CURRENTS BETWEEN DIFFERENT MATERIALS (with PTFE)

Blistering on painted parts or flaking of anodised items are,
unfortunately, frequent and regrettable occurrences in a marine
environment. This is generally due to electrogalvanic currents,
for example, in proximity to a rivet, a simple screw or a steel
plate; if they are not suitably insulated with appropriate
products. Nemo Seaguard is the best product on the market to
eliminate electrogalvanic currents, which occur between
components of different materials, and thus prevents the
formation of rust. Just a thin layer of the product between two
different materials is sufficient to guarantee complete
insulation. Nemo has tested this product in a saline fog chamber
for a period corresponding to ten years in the sea, with very
satisfactory results. Furthermore, since Seaguard is also an
excellent lubricant it can be applied to any type of accessory,
such as rigging screws, turnbuckles, bearings, trolleys, etc.
