Particular attention has been paid to the system of applying the
Plexiglas: a sealant container groove along the top of the frame
prevents the risk of the Plexiglas becoming detached at any
point along the perimeter. This is completed by a special
neoprene seal, resistant to saltwater and perfectly elastic,
which guarantees a waterproof barrier in sea conditions. |

It is impossible to imagine an easier system to regulate the
opening; by simply moving the cover it will remain fixed in any
position you want from O° to 180°. No stays or struts which take
up space, no knobs to be turned, no fixed positions. A large
stabilizing stainless steel spring supports the weight of the
cover and avoids any danger of accidental closure. |

Easy to use, ultra-flat external handles are available as
optional for all hatches, giving the possibility to open and
close the cover from outside. In this case the handle is
supplied with a locking-system that can be operated from inside
to protect against unwanted visitors. All the hatches can be
locked in a “semi-open position” which provides good ventilation
in the cabins but prevents the hatch from being opened from
outside. |

The superlative finish on all the surfaces is particularly
noteworthy: no protruding, sharp or pointed parts will put you
or your sail at risk.
